1. Mongolia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the project Ulaanbaatar Sustainable Urban Transport Project (USUTP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Rehabilitation work of Bayankhoshuu Street (Labor Union Street) and Unur Micro-District Street.
2. The Municipality of Ulaanbaatar (“the Employer”) invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the following contract (“the Works”) that generally include construction of approximately:

3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ulaanbaatar Sustainable Urban Transport Project, Tsolmon Batchuluun, tsolmon@usut.mn, procurement@usut.mn and obtain the bidding document during office hours from 09:00 to 17:00 hours at the address given below.
5. The bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written request to the address below. The document will be sent by e-mail.
6. Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on July 09, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. (GMT+8).

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Aug 19, 2024 at 10.00 a.m. (GMT+8). Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID”, and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below on Aug 19, 2024 at 11.00 a.m. (GMT+8). All envelopes marked “FINANCIAL PART” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Employer until the second public Bid opening.
8. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of MNT 200,000,000.
9. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
