Ulaankhuaran Extension (Corridor Upgrade)

Currently, we are producing the detailed designs for a new road that runs through the 17th and 23rd khoroo of Bayanzurkh District, connecting the 4 km gap between the Ulaankhuaran intersection and Old Uliastia road. The newly planned road will increase the density of the road network by expanding Peace Avenue, Ulaanbaatar’s main horizontal corridor, to the eastern side of the city. The new road will connect isolated Ger Districts (Gachuurt, Hujirbulan, Uliastai, etc.) to the city centre, thus reducing congestion by increasing access to distant areas.
