A high-level seminar was held with city officials on sustainable urban transport planning within the framework of the Mongolian Transportation Development Programmic Advisory Services and Analytics (PASA).

On December 6, 2023, a high-level seminar was organized with the aim of presenting the preliminary conclusions, methods and recommendations of the works implemented within the framework of the World Bank Trust Fund to the guests. The seminar was opened with a speech by Noroariasoa Rabefaniraka, head of the World Bank Project Team, and participants include representatives of the Capital City Governor’s Office, Public Transport Department, project consulting companies, World Bank, and the USUT project.

During the seminar, World Bank consultants presented the results of consulting services such as Transport Infrastructure Investment Planning, preliminary feasibility study of On-Demand Transit Services, research on the introduction of Mobility as a Service in Ulaanbaatar, and flood modeling of roads and road structures in Ulaanbaatar.

These consulting services will be coordinated with the strategic documents of the USUT project within the framework of the goal of sustainable urban transport planning.
