A capacity-building workshop was conducted with stakeholders as part of the Consulting Services for Feasibility studies, Detailed system designs and preparation of the procurement activities for the ITS upgrade.

On August 7 and 8, 2024, as part of the consulting services for feasibility studies, detailed system designs, and procurement preparation for the ITS upgrade, the consulting team conducted a capacity-building training. The sessions covered topics such as “The Current State of Smart Transportation Systems Worldwide and Research Methods for Travel” and “Planning and Optimizing Future Traffic, Intelligent Intersection Systems, and Traffic Lights.”

Experts and representatives from the Ministry of Roads and Transport, the Capital Governor’s Office, the Traffic Management Center, the Transport Police Service, the Department of Public Transport Policy, the Capital Road Development Department, and the Ulaanbaatar Sustainable Road and Transport Project participated in the training.
